YALSA Wants Your Teen Program Highlights

-- School Library Journal, 3/18/2009

Has your library held a program that allowed teens to showcase their creativity? The 2009 YALSA President's Program Committee is constructing a PowerPoint show of teen programs with a creative flare to be presented during the President's Program in Chicago this summer. The committee is looking for pictures of programs that taught or showcased photography, fine arts, music, and theater or gaming design for teens. Examples might include Battle of the Bands, Reader's Theatre, photography contests, knitting programs, and more!
Send digital pictures (JPEG format) and the following program information: program title, name of library where program took place, name of presenter and contact information, brief blurb (one to three sentences) about the program, number of attendees, and date of the program. Deadline is May 1.
