Roger That, Houston. We Have a Visual.

    June 26, 2008

It has begun.  In preparation for the ALA Conference I've been tinkering around with video blogging.  Here is the result of my findings.  It's pretty scratchy and dark and the quality is low, but I think I'll be able to avoid all of that in future.  Check it out.

As I say, expect more of this in the next few days.

I figured I had to work children's literature into the video at least once. Thank God for the tripod. I got it at MOMA. Freaky little thing, isn't it?

    Yippee!
I was feeling very sad about not going to ALA. Now, I can squint and at least pretend I'm there! Thanks!
Andrea B who is experiencing serious puppet envy. Love that puppet!

so have you just established "yakkety sax" as your official theme song? you could do worse, thought for some reason i had you pegged as more of a herb albert/60's game show theme vlog...

I was wondering how the blog would translate into video form. It appears that Fuse #8 won't be skipping a beat! Looking forward to Friday.

David, Yakkety Sax just happened to be the music I had on hand. Which probably says something about me. I once used it in a reenactment of the picture book Chickens to the Rescue (which worked amazingly well). More tomorrow!
