In response to: Women, Comics, Williamsburg, and Large Low-Flying Critters Behind the Book commented: On behalf of all of us at Behind the Book, thank you to everyone who attended this event! The funds raised will help us support workshops in two classrooms this fall. All Behind the Book workshops take place in individual classrooms and are integrated with class curriculum. Our workshops incorporate 3-5 visits by the authors and illustrators of the books, book donations to all students and the class/school library, and a writing project required of all students.
