PlayAway @ The Library

February 25, 2006

Ashworth, over at The School LibraryLand has a compelling post about the positive use of Playaways in school libraries. "The Playaway belongs in school libraries. Imagine being able to expose students to their favorite novel in a portable and digital format. Imagine providing students with an option to listen to their book in the car, in their room or on the bus. We might be able to hook a whole new generation onto reading through osmosis."

Let's also continue to cast the hook out for students to read the written word on paper. BTW, are any school libraries using this?

Also see the Playaway blog.
