She also snagged two Emmy awards for Broadcast Journalism and several Associated Press awards. She now is the Director of Diversity and Educational Technology at The Hewitt School in NYC and is responsible for integrating technological resources into staff and students day to day programs. Anyway, Jerry Craft is most talented with both his charm (see letter below) and his livelihood, encouraging children to read - through his books and his animations. So for me, Jerry's letter was like opening a pandora's box of goodies, and he has quickly become an honorary W.A.R. member. Congrats, Jerry!
