In a shoutout to our friends on Twitter, we pondered: “What would library folks say in pirate?” “@sljournal ahoy! thanks for the awesome reminder,” tweeted “librigirl,” Anna Warns of the Ada Community Library in Boise, ID. “Does this mean I can go around saying: read the dern book or else! Savy?”
“Shiver me timbers!, wrote Kim Wren, Librarian at McKelvey Elementary, St. Louis, MO (Kimwren1). “Happy Talk Like a Pirate Day Twitter Maties!!"
Finally, this gem from Molly Clark of Hastings-Mallory elementary school in Central Square NY (msmolly27): “How about: “Where arrrrrrgh the pirate books?"
