The first three videos feature Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, President of the University of Maryland in Baltimore County, who discusses changing attitudes about math and science through technolmediamix112_3(Original Import)ogy; Julie Young (right), President and CEO of Florida Virtual School, who explains how technology can close the gap between how students live and learn; and Marc Ecko, founder of Sweat Equity Education, offering his ideas about building a better educational experience through applied learning. The videos are available on Blackboard Inc.'s and NBC Learn's websites.

"As a journalist covering education, it's exciting to be able to dig deeper into the subject of technology and how innovation can help improve students' academic achievement," said Rehema Ellis
