Gr 2–4—Adrenaline-filled action shots make this series visually appealing, but the texts do not live up to the covers or the interior photos. This set is essentially a repackaging of the publisher's 2008 series of the same name. The information has been slightly expanded, but it is presented in a disjointed way. While the tables of contents list chapter names, there are no corresponding chapter headings in the main body of the texts to indicate a shift in subject matter, so readers are left confused as they abruptly go from reading about the Celtics' 2008 championship on one page to learning about early stars Bob Cousy and Bill Russell on the following spread. The color and black-and-white photos cannot make up for the lack of organization.
