King & Kayla and the Case of the Escape Artist

Gr 2-4–In this latest series installment, King, a golden retriever, takes his human, brown-skinned Kayla, to Dog Days, the new doggy day care. He plays with new friends Mouse, Goldy, Thor, Poco, and Lulu; but just as another new friend, Houdini, wants to show them all a good trick, King turns to say goodbye to Mouse whose people have arrived at Dog Days to take him home. When King looks around, Houdini’s gone! Where did he go? How did he get out? It looks like he really can escape from anywhere, and now it’s up to King, using his detective skills, to find Houdini.
