When King looks around, Houdini’s gone! Where did he go? How did he get out? It looks like he really can escape from anywhere, and now it’s up to King, using his detective skills, to find Houdini. Butler’s “King and Kayla” series features short chapters, easy language, simple digitally colored illustrations, and a fast-moving plot where young readers can practice their mystery-solving skills. This series will appeal to young dog-lovers and detective-story fans alike.
