People are depicted in a simplistic manner, but it is still possible to discern diverse individuals. This is not an in-depth book about the heart; instead, it focuses on the big picture with some interesting tidbits along the way. There is no back matter.
VERDICT A good choice for readers who enjoy browsable, highly illustrated nonfiction; this may be too basic for those wanting details or for research.
