There’s a Dinosaur in Your Book

Toddler-K–Little Dino needs some help to make friends, and not to wake up Big Dino in the process. The latest installment of “Who’s in Your Book?” series invites readers to show Little Dino how to practice skills including greeting other dinosaurs, using a soft voice, and giving a friendly wave, although his tyrannosaurus tendencies make this difficult. Little Dino eventually wakes up Big Dino, before making him smile with the help of readers and ultimately introducing him to his new Cretaceous crew. Concluding spreads show the group stomping, roaring, and singing together. Fletcher’s familiar formula is as cheerful and engaging as ever, with the interactive format sure to be a hit in story hours and with dinosaur-enthusiasts. Digital illustrations are vibrant and eye-catching, as are the various fonts used to designate interactive elements.
