Baby Babble 3: Next Words—T D N

PreS-Speech—language pathologists, Amy Chouinard and Cory Poland, created this DVD series to help parents improve the language skills of their young children. In this episode, they focus on the consonants T, D, and N. The program is divided into three segments: "Baby Babble 3," a 30-minute portion that is just for children; "Parent Tutorial," a nine-minute segment with helpful tips for parents; and "The Sign Bin," a two-minute demonstration of 15 different signs. The Baby Babble portion features a discordant soundtrack of 1980s-like music played alongside busy, outdated effects and a barrage of short clips that will be confusing to most young children. The Parent Tutorial is quite helpful, with great tips and visual examples on helping a child form sounds properly.
