Because I Said So!

PreS-Gr 3—North Carolina-based children's artists Big Bang Boom's latest album is filled with positive messages and themes that children will relate to easily. This three-man rock band quickly pulls listeners into the music. Children will love the lyrics about events that they all experience, like the first time they ride their bike without any help ("Bicycle"). Parents will enjoy the songs sung from the child's perspective that call them on some of their favorite phrases, such as "Because I Said So!" Lyrics such as "I'd sing about toys, I'd rap like the Beastie Boys" will appeal to the moms and dads who remember the days when they could listen to music with a little more bite while in the car. The playlist of ten songs includes "Green Light," "Make Me," "Are We There Yet?," among others.
