Gr 3—6—The Doctor and Sarah arrive back from a trip in the Tardis to a strangely deserted London. As they try to piece together events, they are arrested by the military and then escape thanks to a rampaging dinosaur. Eventually they are reunited with their friends and allies, some of who turn out to be working for another group who are responsible for the random appearance of pterodactyls, T. rex's, and other large reptiles in central London. Why are the dinos back and what does the Doctor plans to do about it? Sound effects and Martin Jarvis's narration bring the characters to life in this tale (Pinnacle, pap. 1979) by Malcolm Hulke. An enjoyable listen.—Laura Davies, Kenton County Public Library, KY
