Gr 6 Up—Interviews with teens and adults combined with sort videos cover the perils of an everlasting digital footprint and how to avoid them, the truth about multitasking, and the amount of time teens spend plugged in and how it affects sleep patterns as well as interpersonal skills. Experts also talk about the lack of emotional cues in the online world. While the video is informative, it will be hard to convince teens that they should put their digital devices away one hour before going to bed. The teens interviewed chat mostly about Facebook as the go-to form of media and not Twitter. A discussion about other forms of social media would have had added interest. Each chapter ends with a summary of key points covered. The video provides a wide range of information and points out important statistics about technology usage.—Karen Alexander, Lake Fenton High School, Linden, MI
