Each athlete is given a spread that covers basic facts, including birth, country, club, position played, awards, and an overview of key information. On the right side of each spread there is a large, stylized graphic of the sports star in uniform with a nickname for the player. Informational points vary from person to person; their foot preference, height, hairdo, or tattoo, for example. There is mention of what some have done after their professional careers. Back matter includes a soccer time line, but a glossary is not included, and terms like nutmeg, red card, and yellow card in the text aren't defined.
