Gr 6–10—While geared for family group programs, this series has a lot to offer school counseling groups and family life classes as well as motivated teens looking for answers to some of the more challenging questions/situations they face in the process of becoming adults. While interacting with each other, hosts Connor and Alicia do a very good job of presenting topics like sexuality, the risks of substance abuse, learning to accept responsibility, developing self-discipline, and learning to communicate effectively. Graphics and music are professionally done. Vignettes are presented at the beginning of each program and are returned to later to show the participants in the same scenarios using different, more positive ways to handle the situations. This concept reinforces the messages being presented very well. Teens will relate to the spot-on situations addressed. Watching this series will help teens become open to exploring and reaching out to adults who can function as positive role models. A good choice for school and public libraries.—John R. Clark, Hartland Public Library
