Mr. Happy ends up chuckling with a now-smiling Mr. Miserable. Mr. Messy leaves the cap off his toothpaste, Mr. Small slips into the mustard, and Mr. Brave rushes to arrive on time for tea to avoid upsetting stern Miss Bossy. There are visits with Mr. Funny, Mr. Noisy, Mr. Bump, Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Mischief, and Mr. Birthday. All gently touch on good behavior. Jim Dale brings each amusing character vividly to life.
VERDICT With excellent sound quality and familiar figures for cover art, this is sure to please primary grade listeners and the adults who'll remember the stories, now in print for more than four decades.
