Gr 2—4—Edward, a caring and endearing child, befriends the monster-like, yet kind Oggledy Nork in the fifth book (Aladdin, 2008) of Bruce Coville's series. The boy learns that Oggledy Nork's family was cursed more than 100 years ago by an old woman, so Edward, Moongobble, and friends are off to the Temple of Toadliness in Flitwick City to find the counterspell for the curse. The narration is performed by a full cast, including Coville as Oggledy Nork, with a voice characteristic of the Cookie Monster. Of note for fantasy lovers, author Tamora Pierce voices Tambo. Music increases tension, drama, and action throughout the tale. While this title could stand alone, those familiar with the entire series will enjoy this continuation of Edward and Moongobble's magical adventures and will have a slightly better understanding of the characters. Recommended for libraries already circulating the other titles in the series.—Amy Olson, formerly Lexington Public Library, KY
