If you’re a devoted Google Forms lover, take a new look. You’ll be excited and you’ll likely just want to create many more surveys and polls!
Earlier this week the Google Drive Blog announced that, in response to user requests, they’ve added the ability to add your own personal touch to forms through custom themes. You can design one of your own, or use one of the new ones Google offers in its library of options.
(Some of these lovely new gifs are animated!)
You’ll also find lots of options for customizing your theme styles, including choices relating to placement, backgrounds, and fonts and font sizes. Many of these options are schooly and sporty.
This is a lovely way to create more engaging formative assessments, exit tickets, to solicit student opinion, to survey parents and colleagues, to communicate with teams and clubs. A great little piece of news to share at one of those early professional development workshops too!
On a related note:
Beyond this new decorative capacity, wondering how to add images inside of your forms for the purpose of identifying, analysis, referring to a diagram, or inspiring response to a work of art?
