This should be interesting: Papercutz has signed a “first look” deal with Nickelodeon to develop their new cartoon properties into comics and graphic novels (much as IDW has with Cartoon Network), and they will also publish a new Nickelodeon magazine. The first two to be adapted are Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners, and two more are on the way.
And that’s not all: Oni Press is developing a comic based on another Nick series, Invader Zim. The show was created by Jhonen Vasquez and was something of a cult hit at the time. The creative team on the comic includes Vasquez, Aaron Alexovich, Eric Trueheart, and Rikki Simons (co-creator of Shutterbox).
