Why I chose Sharon Flake:

My school was fortunate enough to host a visit from Sharon. Flake several years ago and she was spellbinding. Just like with her novels, she had the students hanging on her every word. Her characters, and the situations in which they find themselves, are intimately relatable for the students I serve. I have a difficult time keeping her books in stock, they are constantly coming and going. Often, they are so well loved at the end of the year that I have to put them on my reorder list.
