The final three sections explore natural changes such as puberty and aging; how we electively change our bodies (through hair styles and body decoration); and finally how we interact with others (this section includes consent). Illustrations are colorful, charming, and whimsical while depicting people of all ages, ethnicities, sizes, and skin tones. Several people are in wheelchairs or have other visible disabilities.
VERDICT A humorous and informative body-positive exploration, appropriate for adolescents approaching or experiencing puberty.
