Young readers may find some unfamiliar facts; for instance, Beyoncé was a part of a group called Destiny's Child and Justin Timberlake "won an award for his work on a funny TV show." Quick stats and key dates are included at the end. There is little substance to be found in this series and the books wouldn't be of much use for reports. However, the photographs alone will appeal to fans.
VERDICT Though the information is scant, the pictures will attract browsers; a supplemental purchase.
