Developing readers will enjoy the short verses, visual clues, and the various degrees of difficulty ensuring success and challenges. The delightfully cluttered pictures are filled with mostly bright, colorful, and easy to identify items. The layout sometimes creates a kaleidoscope effect that can be entrancing. Back matter expanding the seek-and-find experience will give readers more reasons to pour over the pictures.
VERDICT This is likely a must for collections where these books are popular; children will discover new details every time they open the book.
