PreS-Gr 2—Jeremiah Jellyfish, who is drifting along through his uneventful life, yearns for excitement. With encouragement from his grandfather, he leaves his relaxing green shoal and finds a hut on the shore. Inside, he finds a snoozing director-in-chief of the biggest rocket plane business in the world. He, too, is longing, but he wants the relaxing green waters that Jeremiah left behind. Moments later the two have swapped lives and Jeremiah is off on his big adventure, possessing all of the skills needed to be an executive and tackle the pressures of business with ease. Meanwhile, the former director is floating and relaxing. In the end, Jeremiah realizes that there's no place like home. Readers see clever cityscapes, futuristic planes, and grand parties during Jeremiah's adventures, and on the other end of the scale, peaceful waterscapes. The text appears on a mixture of spreads, single pages with a few words, and some pages with more white space than anything. The art is colorful, filled with detail and activity, and great fun.—
