Gr 3-6–Oceans are full of so much more life than people realize. This DK “Find Out!” title provides a deep dive of habitats, animals, dangerous waters, shipwrecks, and famous sea explorers. The colorful pages are very appealing. There are animals and real-life photos featured on every page along with cool facts. The text ends with a call to action about ocean conservation, which includes ways to help. A table of contents, a glossary, an index, and an interview with a conservationist are included. The font is easy to read, and special facts are highlighted in colorful bubbles.
VERDICT A worthy addition for libraries where other DK books are popular.
