Toddler-PreS–Ham’s spectacular silhouettes in black and white, with a streak of near-neon color, follow the tale of a rabbit and its travails. “Rabbit on” shows a bunny on a chair creating, like a hare-version of Harold and the Purple Crayon, a pink drawing on a wall-like surface. The chair tips. “Oops!” That means “Rabbit off.” A sandcastle for the “on” illustration turns into an “off” when a wave hits it, and a bubble bath goes blissfully awry. This is ideal toddler stuff; they will shout along, absorb the words, and “Oops!” will become a new favorite exclamation.
