This lavishly illustrated romance has narrative similarities to Akumi Agitogi’s “My Happy Marriage” series, but the supernatural storyline quickly diverges into its own territory. Nanao’s former family begin to regret their decision, similarly to the manhwa series “The Remarried Empress,” and this first volume already lays the foundation for love triangles and revenge or regret storylines to come into play down the line.
