It is now 2165, and Alana is a slave to Master Dine, forced to wear a billa to cover the burns on her face caused by Master Dine's jealous wife. She has no hope of freedom from this life until she meets Recks and Kinder, prisoners of Master Tow. They tell her stories of better places and a better life. This novel takes readers on a journey through a world littered with chaos, confusion, and pain. This work offers a fresh twist on the postapocalyptic genre by having the characters regress back to a time of slavery and archaic beliefs.
