Folks, it is my very great pleasure today to present to you today with the Children’s Book Week Bookmarks of 2017. Featuring art from the illustrious pens and paints of Ekua Holmes, Yuyi Morales, LeUyen Pham, and Sonja Wimmer, you can thank Every Child a Reader (a nonprofit literacy organization dedicated to inspiring a love of reading in children and teens across America) for getting this all together.

You might be asking yourself, why are are there bookmarks for Children’s Book Week?  Well, over six hundred schools, libraries, and independent bookstores host Book Week events.  These bookmarks are just one of a slew of downloadable materials they give out.

Ready for them?  Then here they are!

Nice, right? Want to download them for yourself?  Then head on over to www.everychildareader.net/cbw/bookmark

Now I’d be remiss if I didn’t also happen to mention that at this point in time the Children’s & Teen Choice Book Awards voting has begun.  Head on over with a kiddo and get them to put in their votes.  There are some really great choices going on there (and a few real stinkers too, so choose wisely, kids!).

Many thanks to Shaina Birkhead and the good folks at the Children’s Book Council for the reveal!
