Kara Yorio joins SLJ as News Editor

Veteran journalist joins SLJ staff.
Kara Yorio joins School Library Journal as news editor, responsible for reporting and editing news and features for the magazine. She comes to SLJ with more than 20 years of experience as a writer and editor, covering a wide range of topics including education, health, parenting, arts and entertainment, business and sports as a staff writer and freelancer for various publications including The Record newspaper, USA Today, the NY Daily News and The Sporting News.
