ALA ANNUAL PLANUAL

Later this week I’m headed to the 2018 American Library Association Annual Conference (do all those words get capitalized? I’m going with it). Will you be there?

I have a three-pronged approach to the conference this year.

Prong #1: Librarian Stuff

I could go on about the stuff I want to hit, but really this article does a better job than I could. I’m hoping to hit a bunch of the programming listed there.

Prong #2: Podcast Stuff

The Yarn, Inc. (there’s no Inc.) has a room reserved for recording interviews with the makers of these fine books (coming soon to a Yarn episode near you):

Also, we’re recording a LIVE episode on Sunday at 10:00am, and you are invited. It’s on the PopTop Stage and the lineup is unquestionably wonderful:

Prong #3: Author Stuff

The Very Last Castle by Travis Jonker and Mark Pett

I’m also at ALA to talk about The Very Last Castle, the book I wrote and Mark Pett illustrated that’s coming out in October.

I’m signing copies of the book Sunday @ 11:00am in Abrams booth #3515 – stop by! During the signing at BEA I figured out a way to make the main character say your name, so, you know, you’re not going to want to miss that.
