For those of you that remember Tears for Fears's original version of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," Lorde's take of it on the
Catching Fire Soundtrack might be a bit like cilantro—you'll either love it, or hate it. Lady Gaga continues to entertain listeners with her larger-than-life presence and catchy dance tunes on
Artpop.
Battlefield 4 still has gamers perched on the edge of World War III, but now they have more options in their arsenals, and is available for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Artpop, Lady Gaga (Interscope)

While Lady Gaga claims she wants to revolutionize pop, her latest album
Artpop follows more in the wake of her other successful albums,
Fame,
Born This Way, and
The Fame Monster.Yes, while many of the tracks deal with the issues of life as fashion icon and diva,
Artpop is a collection of really great dance songs. Gaga’s lofty ambitions are not lost here and it is certainly clear that she loves playing queen to her little monsters.
Artpop has a mix of musical styles from high-tech pop to industrial electro–pop to strong vocal ballads. The most influential and thought-provoking track is titled "Aura." With a background sound in the Middle Eastern tradition, the lyrics focus on a burqa-wearing pop star and what really lies underneath. Gaga fans will love
Artpop and those who do not take Lady Gaga seriously can enjoy it too. Check out “Applause,” “Fashion,” “Venus,” “Do What U Want,” and “Gypsy.”

Considering the success of the first
Hunger Games film and soundtrack, choosing the artists for round two could have been a daunting task. Fortunately,
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Soundtrack is a wonderful compilation of musical talent that perfectly reflects the film. The various artists offer a mix of sounds from indie, alternative, folksy, mainstream, and eclectic ballads. The soundtrack’s new producer, Alexandra Patsavas successfully combines all of these while transforming the melancholy sound from the original soundtrack to a sleeker, more funky take. This mirrors the struggle against oppression and the need for revolution that resonates throughout the film. One of the best tracks is from the up-and-coming star from New Zealand, Lorde. Her
eerily haunting version of Tears for Fears's “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” is sure to become a classic, as a brilliant transformation of the original. This album delivers plenty of winners and is sure to please fans. Other great tracks to check out are “Atlas,” “Devil May Cry,” “Who We Are,” “Elastic Heart,” and “Capital Letter.”

Battlefield 4 is an awesome military playing experience that is sure to please gaming fans. Rather than just a rehash of
Battlefield 3, there are plenty of additions and overall improvements that make
Battlefield 4 one huge epic package. Single campaign is lots of fun but
Battlefield 4 comes to life with online multi-player mode. The story line is simple—your squad travels around Europe and Asia preventing World War III. Action takes place on land, sea and air, using all types of vehicles from ships to helicopters. With the help of various innovative maps, your squad will be challenged in the art of warfare. The addition of Commander Mode increases the intensity of combat, and is a very powerful strategic tool for planning and executing battle maneuvers, allowing you to see the whole battlefield from above. PS4 and Xbox One give you excellent visuals and expanded options, but
Battlefield 4 is hours of great warfare even in current versions. Rating: M for Mature. Platform: Xbox One, PS4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC.
