Sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the International Reading Association (IRA), and Thinkfinity, and hosted at the ReadWriteThink website, each episode of Text Messages features in-depth recommendations of titles for young adults, as well conversations with notable YA authors like Chris Crutcher and Kristin Cashore. Hosted by Jennifer Buehler, Assistant Professor of English Education at St. Louis University (MO), each podcast runs from 15 to 30 minutes long, and focuses on a specific topic, such as Teens and Trauma or Nonfiction Roundup.
