PreS-Gr 2—This well-intentioned book teaches that bullying is not cool and that we all have issues—some of them more visible than others. It starts in a familiar school setting and uses animals as characters. The included CD is narrated by Nia Vardalos; Morgan Freeman is the voice of the bully. Other character voices include Olympia Dukakis, Gloria Gaynor, John Aniston, Alexis Christoforous, Frank Dicopoulos, and Constantine Maroulis. On several pages, the text overwhelms the illustrations, and there are several loose ends that left dangling. The serviceable artwork leaves nothing to readers' imaginations. Although this book has some good features, there are many other titles that address the topic with a more vivid set of illustrations and an easier to understand story line.—Janene Corbin, Rosebank Elementary School, Nashville, TN
