Findaway World, Mackin Partner to Launch PreK–12 Audiobook Platform

Findaway World and Mackin Educational Resources have partnered to provide access to more than 31,000 digital audiobooks for PreK–12 students directly through MackinVIA.
Findaway World and Mackin Educational Resources have partnered to provide access to more than 31,000 digital downloadable audiobooks for PreK–12 schools and their students directly through MackinVIA. This audiobook library will be completely customizable, and will allow schools to purchase only the titles they want without needing to pay for any annual subscription or hosting fees. “This significant opportunity is just one of many that has helped to propel Mackin into position as a solid industry leader by providing schools with relevant digital audio content,” says Randal Heise, Mackin’s president, in the announcement. “Unlike other systems, these audiobooks are accessible inside their free MackinVIA portal and won’t require other applications or logging out to enjoy.” Through the new partnership with Findaway, access to these digital audiobooks becomes even more streamlined and simplified through MackinVIA, the companies say. Librarians and teachers will be able to choose from an extensive selection of children’s and young adult titles that can be either streamed to a computer or downloaded to a mobile device through the MackinVIA app. “The newly formed partnership is an important landmark for Findaway World,” says Mitch Kroll, co-founder and CEO. “We’ve furthered our mission of providing simple and immediate access to digital content by relentlessly innovating on behalf of our customers and creating an easy-to-use, flexible, and affordable digital audiobook platform. Inclusion of our product inside a well-designed and highly intuitive platform like MackinVIA builds on the vision we have for our digital products.”
