Students lay down en masse at Truman State's Pickler Memorial Library on Friday in protest of two Grand Juries' decisions to acquit police officers in the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, and Eric Garner in Staten Island, NY. "Went to the library to print my paper and ended up joining a protest and occupying Pickler. #BlackLivesMatter," tweeted Truman State student @alli_sun93. "We laid on the ground for 4.5 minutes to represent the 4.5 hours Brown was left on the road after being shot," she told SLJ. pic of the week

Regarding the Student "Die-In": Instead of these drama queen "criminal" students laying down and effectively "stealing" innocent hard working student's access to publicly funded Truman State’s Pickler Memorial Library,, how about all these little darlings all get up off their lily-white-backsides and go outside and stage a "Lets all go outside and help out via KNEELING DOWN on our hands and knees and pulling some weeds from the campus gardens event"! Maybe it will spawn some clearing of the weeds in their heads! BRATS!
