Check out the Poetry Friday roundup at GottaBook.

National Poetry Month looms (but, you know, in a good way) and I’m counting down to the big event with a book spine poem each and every Friday in March.

Interested in giving the book spine poem thing a shot? Try it with kids? Here are my tips. If you’d like, take some pictures of what you come up with and send them my way (scopenotes at gmail dot com). Or post it to your blog and let me know. On Tuesday, April 2nd a gallery of submissions goes up for all to see. I’ll continue to add to it for the entire month of April.

As for today’s poem…

Accomplishment of the week – I managed to make one that rhymes.
