On September 21, World Peace Day, Dr. Jane Goodall, the noted conservationist, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and Roots and Shoots, and the
United Nation's "Messenger of Peace" addressed that august body. Later that day, publisher
Michael Neugebaurer hosted an intimate get together with industry professionals and Goodall, who spoke about her forthcoming book,
A Prayer for World Peace (minedition, Nov., 2015; Gr 5 Up), illustrated by the Iranian artist Feeroozeh Golmohammadi. A video
message of Jane Goodall speaking with guests at that event and an online peek of
the entire text of A Prayer for World Peace have been made available for
School Library Journal's readers.

The book is a beauty! Wonderful artwork and, of course, the impactful and lyrical words of Dr. Goodall. On page 42 of this electronic copy, there is a typo at the top of the page where one of Dr. Goodalls most widely known quotes is featured! I hope this can be corrected.Posted : Oct 19, 2015 10:45
